Champion Course overview
Any avid golfer should have the Jack Nicklaus designed Champion Course on their ‘must play’ list. This world-renowned course is home to an annual PGA TOUR stop, and hosted the 1983 Ryder Cup. It features the infamous ‘Bear Trap’, three of the most demanding closing holes on the Tour. It is widely considered to be one of Florida’s most notable golf challenges, and in May 2008, USA Today stated that ‘The Bear Trap is one of the toughest stretches in golf’. It’s definitely a highlight of any Florida golf tour.
