IT Project Manager - Full Time Position

Summary

Golfbreaks is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take a central role in the planning and successful execution of a number of projects across the business. This role requires a strong understanding of Scrum, as well as the ability to adapt an approach to fit the specific needs of each project / business unit, and to coach and mentor the teams to be successful.

Responsibilites

• Develop and maintain plans for multiple projects running simultaneously
• Track, monitor and report progress
• Identify and manage risks
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders
• Mentor and guide Product Owners
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Remove roadblocks and impediments to the team's progress
• Help teams to improve their self-organisation and collaboration skills
• Promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure that projects meet all requirements and are delivered on time and within budget

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a ScrumMaster / project management role
• Experience with a variety of project management tools and techniques
• Experience with facilitating Scrum ceremonies
• Strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good problem solver, well organised and a “can do” attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience managing competing agendas and negotiating with key stakeholders to ensure the overall strategic roadmap is kept intact

Desired Skills

• Experience with traditional and Agile development methodologies
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. Azure)
• Experience delivering CRM/Web-based systems/Mobile Applications
• Experience with project management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, Trello)
