Hayston Golf Club overview

Located in the heart of Scotland, this challenging course is surrounded by beautiful countryside and prides itself on its immaculate greens and varied course layout. The clubhouse features all the amenities you need and offers a space to unwind after your round with a drink and bite to eat.

Golf Course at Hayston Golf Club

Built in 1926, this par 69 James Braid design measures just over 6,000 yards and features plenty of tricky bunkers which golfers must contend with. The whole site is only 72 acres but appears much more spacious due to Braid's clever design.

Braid made frequent visits to advise on course alterations and clearly had a strong affection for the course. This parkland layout is certainly one to add to your Scottish golf tour, with nearby courses including Balmore and Cawder.

Signature Holes

The signature hole is considered to be the par 3 14th hole, ‘The Quarry’.
