PGA Catalunya has been listed amongst the top 10 European courses by Golf World magazine and is the only course to have hosted two European Tour events within ten months of opening.
The Green Course: Designed by Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles, this par 72 layout offers five sets of tees from each of its holes making it suitable for all levels of golfer. Having said that, it is still regarded as a “technician’s” course with old oak trees, evergreens and heather encroaching the sides of the fairways and a fair bit of water to negotiate as well. It is quite a hilly course making it a great physical, as well as mental, workout.
The Red Course: The Red Course is of equally breathtaking beauty. Located adjacent to the Green, it boasts the same fantastic design and layout. It is a little bit shorter than the Green and is slightly more open is places.
