Redditch, north Worcestershire
Situated in a lovely 175 acre estate in north Worcestershire, the Abbey Hotel Golf and Country Club can be found on land that once belonged to the now ruined local abbey.
Built in the late 1970’s the Abbey course has now matured into a fine, championship standard parkland course measuring over 6,500 yards.
The course was designed by Donald Steel, one of Britain’s leading course architects.
The hotels spacious rooms provide a great base for golfing groups. Just watch out for the par 3, 7th, it’s surrounded on three sides by the River Arrow and sure to test your nerve.
