LothianMid and east Lothian offer some superb, easily accessible golf breaks near Edinburgh. If you're flying into Edinburgh Airport you can be on the course within an hour staying at the terrific 36 hole Marriott Dalmahoy 4*. East Lothian boasts some amazing courses, a few of which have been Open Qualifiers (when golf's oldest competition is held at Muirfield) such as the testing links tracks at Gullane.
