Selsdon Park hotel has recently undergone a major £6m refurbishment and investment program, which ensures that the hotel continues to offer its guests the highest standards or luxury, both in terms of the accommodation and the facilities. Designed by JH Taylor in 1929, Selsdon Park golf course has matured into a traditional parkland course. Renovated in 2007, it offers a great test for any golfer.

At 6,473 yards with a par of 73, Selsdon Park is a real challenge for both high and low handicappers. The course provides a wide variety of challenges, with 4 par 5s of over 500 yards (definite 3 shotters for all but the longest hitters) coupled with some short par 4s, meaning that to score well you have to be playing well with every club in the bag. Wayward driving will be punished, as the rough can be incredibly thick, so accuracy off the tee is at a premium. The signature hole is probably the 2nd, where a good drive will leave you with an uphill 2nd shot to the green with trouble all around. Played in beautiful surroundings, a round at Selsdon Park will delight golfers of all abilities.
