Accommodation

There are two types of accommodation at Fairmont St Andrews - guest rooms and the manor homes. Each of the 209 generous guestrooms are blessed with both style and functionality and offer the latest in room amenities and home comforts. The Manor Homes are of a modern open plan design, situated next to the 4th fairway of the Torrance Course, sharing the same breathtaking views as the resort. Each Manor Home has four large en-suite bedrooms, a farmhouse style kitchen, luxurious living room, dining room and a fully equipped business office.

Fairmont St Andrews' European-style health spa offers a full range of body and beauty treatments, including Swedish massage, deep cleansing facial, hydrotherapy bath, paraffin wrap, salt glow with Vichy shower massage, and thalassotherapy exfoliation. And if that isn't enough, there are also fitness and wellbeing activities, steam rooms, sauna and jacuzzi, not to mention a large heated indoor swimming pool.

There's an excellent dining selection at Fairmont St Andrews including The Squire which offers a relaxed and hospitable dining experience. For afternoon tea or a light snack try the Kittock's Den or the Clubhouse that over looks the resort grounds out to the North Sea. For the non golfer there are many local attractions such as castles, distilleries, museum's, sea life aquarium, woollen mills and The Byre Theatre, as well as the opportunity to explore the city of St Andrews and the rugged coastline of the Kingdom of Fife.

No visit to Fairmont St Andrews would be complete without a game of golf. With two magnificent courses that weave their way over the rolling landscape, an unforgettable experience awaits both the seasoned professional and the beginner alike.

Torrance Course (Fairmont St Andrews)

Opened in August 2001, the Torrance is a spectacular course incorporating cliff-edge holes and stunning views over the North Sea and the medieval skyline of historic St Andrews. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE IS CLOSED UNTIL JULY 2009 DUE TO MAINTENANCE WORK TAKING PLACE FOR THE 2010 OPEN QUALIFYING CHAMPIONSHIPS. THE KITTOCKS COURSE IS OPEN AS USUAL.

Kittocks Course (Fairmont St Andrews)

The Kittocks is the more challenging course of the two and was designed by Gene Sarazen and Bruce Devlin. Opened in July 2002, the course stretches over Kittock's Den and along the sweeping coastline. It provides a formidable test to every category of golfer with the breathtaking coastline an intrinsic feature of the layout.
