Opened in 2009 and designed by Jack Nicklaus, it was not long before this mammoth 7437-yard championship course won numerous awards for its excellence and quality layout. If you can avoid the nearby water on the right-hand side, the par-four 6th provides a great opportunity for birdie. Simply put, you must play this course on your golf trip.

The Ourika Course at Golf Club Rotana is located to the south of Marrakech in a calm and relaxing environment surrounded by olive and palm trees. The desert-style design was conceived by Canadian duo Neil Haworth and Stephane Talbot and is a true golfer’s paradise, aided by the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. This golf course truly is one of the gems of Morocco and is well worth playing when holidaying here.

Yet another example of a top-quality recently opened golf club in Marrakech, Noria is becoming known as one of the best in the area. The signature par-three 8th is incredible and unique - the rectangular Biarritz green lies between a reflecting pool and a traditional Moroccan bell tower. Built in 1927 and extended in 2008, Royal Golf Marrakech is an established 27-hole course situated at the feet of the Atlas Mountains.
