Customer Service Travel Operations Administrator - University Placement
Role Overview As a Travel Administrator you will be expected to provide support for the Travel Administration team in all day-to-day activities. This role is vital within the booking process to ensure that every component of a break is booked. It requires someone with strong customer service skills and an attention to details when completing tasks.
Being part of a small team will mean working and communicating closely with your peers. On-going training is provided to support both your personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting outstanding balances from clients
- Communicating with suppliers via phone or email to gain outstanding booking confirmations
- Organising and booking travel extras such as car hire, Eurotunnel, transfers and ferries
- Management of the central mailboxes daily, uploading enquiries to our internal system and distributing booking confirmations to the Sales and Customer Service teams
- Prioritising of personal workflow to ensure that the daily targets set are met by the end of the day
- Running reports and putting together daily stats into spreadsheets
- To liaise with other departments on any travel queries
- Ad hoc travel administration duties as required
You will be providing support for the sales and service department, so will need to adopt a proactive attitude to the role and be able to use your initiative to solve issues should they arise. The role demands excellent attention to detail, organisation, prioritisation, and teamwork as well as effective communication skills.
