With some of the best golf in the UK located along the Northern Irish coastline, this 153rd Open Championship is sure to be a spectacular event. Last time Royal Portrush hosted an Open it saw home favourite Shane Lowry storm home to victory with a 6-shot lead. This victory was Lowery’s first and only Major Championship victory in tough and testing conditions, and 2025 intends to be another epic affair.
In 2026, The 154th Open returns to Royal Birkdale for the first time since 2017, which saw Jordan Spieth dramatically take victory. Birkdale has an exceptional golfing heritage, with Birkdale hosting its first Open back in 1954, which will help to make for a fantastic Open Championship for all in attendance.
