The Championship Golf Course, designed by Henry Cotton is an 18-hole par 72 classic British parkland layout which has been a firm favourite for UK visitors. It has hosted the Portuguese Open on many occasions and is a great test of golf. Featuring a range of streams, ditches and water hazards throughout, its length and beautiful woodland areas can cause serious problems and will force players to keep their focus.
This course provides a challenge for even the most proficient of players. It is regarded by many as the finest course in the Algarve and even the most experienced golfers find It challenging. It is playable all year-round and is kept in immaculate condition.
