Major pedigree with maximum enjoyment

Regularly listed as one of the world’s greatest courses, the stunning Pebble Beach Golf Resort is the jewel in the crown of golf on the West Coast. Opened for play in 1919 and originally designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, Pebble Beach Golf Links™ has hosted the US Open six times, as well as the PGA Championship once in 1977. Make sure to also take in some of Pebble Beach’s incredible sister courses such as Spyglass Hill® and the Links at Spanish Bay™ to make your trip truly memorable.

Further down the coast, the North and South Course at Torrey Pines continue to be a key part of the PGA TOUR’s roster, hosting the Farmers Insurance Open each January. Tiger Woods has previously made hay on Torrey Pines’ South Course, winning 8 PGA TOUR events (including the 2008 US Open) as well as the World Junior Championship! The layout is a true test of golf, particularly for those playing over the winter months when the rough is grown in preparation for the tournament.

For those looking for a more relaxing, resort-based break, be sure to check out Palm Springs. With luxurious hotels and unbeatable on-site facilities, the resorts in Palm Springs offer the perfect escape, particularly during the winter months. Don’t be fooled by the warmness of the welcome though, the courses in Palm Springs have a bit of bite too, with TPC Stadium Course and the Nicklaus Course at PGA West some of our favourites!
