The Playa Paraiso Golf Club is a high-quality 18-hole venue situated between Cancun to the north and Playa del Carmen to the south. As part of the Iberostar Resort complex, it is a great option for those staying at one of the Iberostar properties in Playa Paraiso. In addition to an excellent and challenging P.B. Dye-designed golf course, golfers will also find a large clubhouse with a restaurant, bar, and pro shop. As an added attraction, golfers receive food and beverages on the golf course as part of the green fee.

The Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club is an 18-hole P.B. Dye design that opened for play in 2005, making it an excellent addition to the east coast of Mexico. A par-72, measuring 6,800 yards from the back tees, it may not seem difficult on the scorecard; however, this is one of P.B. Dye’s more challenging layouts with brutal rough at times, as well as numerous water hazards and well-defended greens.
Accuracy off the tee and from the fairway is crucial here, as poorly placed shots will be punished, with certain holes playing very narrow, where the course threads its way through the jungle.
