The unspoiled rolling countryside of Castlemartyr in East Cork is steeped in rich history. Here an 18th Century classic manor house lies adjacent to the ruins of an 800 year old castle originally built by Richard Earl de Clare, known as Strongbow. Castlemartyr Resort is located in the village of Castlemartyr, 25 km East of Cork city and 30 km from Cork airport. Dublin is a 250 km drive away, taking approximately 2.5 hours.
