Overview

Style: Parkland

Castlemartyr Golf Course is the astute work of legendary course architect Ron Kirby. Famous for Old Head Links and Gleneagles, Kirby has designed an inland links course which is both visually stunning and challenging for players of all calibre. In addition to the outstanding course, the golf club itself provides first-class service and comes complete with clubhouse, pro-shop and practice facilities. Castlemartyr prides itself on having one of the best golf courses in the Cork area. The onsite inland layout is very unique for the area and is an excellent addition to the already outstanding 5-star Castlemartyr Resort. The course is 18-holes of golfing bliss laid out within 220-acres of old manor estate. Being the slightly shorter of the two 9’s, the front-9 tends to play easier, so visiting golfers will want to do their best going out to avoid any disappointed scores coming home.
