Designed by the late Eddie Hackett, Donegal Golf Club is reached via a long narrow road that takes you out to the peninsula on which it is built, leaving you no shelter from the elements. One hole to watch out for is the par-3, 5th, known as 'The Valley of Tears'. This course has the power to make or break your game.

Donegal Golf Club boasts an excellent 18-hole links course built on 182 acres rugged landscape that extends out into the Atlantic Ocean. The course, a par 73, consists of five Par 5's, four Par 3's and nine Par 4's, stretching over 7400 yards from the back tees, with five tees from each hole, allowing all abilities to be tested to a good standard. Despite its length, the layout is an easy and beautiful walk, broken up by the outstanding views, wildlife, and the ever changing fauna and flora.
