Rosapenna, St Patrick’s Links

The Rosapenna Golf Resort purchased the St Patrick’s Links in late 2012, which was previously a 36-hole facility developed by the Walsh Family of Carrigart. St Patrick’s Links represents a stunning addition to the Rosapenna Resort, adding to the two existing courses – the Old Tom Morris Course and Sandy Hills Course. This piece of property, re-imagined by critically acclaimed course architect Tom Doak in 2013, was finalized in 2020 to make what is now an unrecognizable 18-hole course.

This modern design sits on some wonderful links land overlooking Sheephaven Bay, huge in scale and with spectacular views along the coastline. The front-nine takes you through some large sand dunes before winding its way through more gentle dunes on the inward 9. Welcoming both resident and non-resident play, this golf course should certainly be high up on golfers ‘to play lists’ in the future!
