Fire Course Overview
The Jumeirah GE Fire golf course boasts a layout that resembles some of the finest sandbelt courses of Great Britain and Australia. Position off the tee is critical in order to find the relatively small greens with your approach play. With wispy rough and large sandy areas collecting wayward shots, Norman has managed to create a links like feel to the Fire course.
The 1st hole is relatively straight forward but the test soon kicks in with the three following holes. A par-3 of over 200 yards followed by two well-protected par-4s. Par at each of these is considered an excellent start. The par-5, 18th is a fantastic finishing hole. Playing up to the Norman Clubhouse, it's a great chance to finish with a birdie.
