Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club overview

Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club, set within Luttrellstown Castle’s 567 acre walled estate, has been consistently ranked as one of Ireland’s top 100 courses. Surrounded by mature woodland, the parkland course, featuring links style bunkers, rolls over the natural contours and undulations of the land, paying respect to the ancient landscape.

Golf Course at Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club

Having been redesigned in 2006 with the addition of a short game layout and practice area, Luttrellstown Castle Golf & Country Club has massively grown in stature. Measuring over 7300 yards from the back tees, big hitters will thrive here. However, accuracy is also paramount off the tee, as the River Liffey meanders through the heart of the course. This factor, along with the numerous lakes, means that water comes into play on a total of 11 holes. The holes between the 3rd and the 7th are the most challenging, and it’s here that good scorecards are either made or ruined. Pause to admire the spectacular view from the 6th tee, stretching across the Strawberry Beds and down over the Liffey Valley.
