Dumfries & County Golf Club overview

Dumfries & County Golf Club offers a superb golfing experience for visitors of all abilities. This Willie Fernie-designed course is often praised as one of the best parkland tracks in Southern Scotland, with an interesting layout that presents elevated tees, tricky dog legs, and plenty of undulation.

Acclaimed for its beautiful greens that are USGA standard, so that the ball will roll true with your putts, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Nith Valley and Scottish Countryside throughout your round. The ninth and 18th holes on this par-69 course also both loop back to the clubhouse, making it easy for you to play a quick nine holes on the front or back nine.

Signature Holes

The club's signature hole is the fourth, named Queensbury, which is a 327-yard par-4. This hole offers picturesque views, an elevated tee, and fast greens protected by bunkers on both sides and an intimidating woodland off the back. Making par on this hole will feel like a birdie!

Post Round

The relaxed clubhouse looks out onto the spectacular grounds of the 18th hole and the surrounding rolling hills. It is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing beverage after your round.
