Medal Course
at Monifieth Golf Links
Dundee & Perth, Scotland
Overview
The Medal Course is renowned for being difficult to play, with gorse covered dune ridges between fairways, deep revetted bunkers, and fast consistent greens.
The first few holes give players a fantastic view of the main railway line from Aberdeen to London which runs alongside the course and offers an out-of-bounds threat.
Hole 7 is a beautifully-looking long par 4 which runs in the opposite direction to the first six holes and meanders through shallow dunes. The back nine is less demanding than the front and features four stunning par 4s that really show off the natural landscape.
