West Course overview
With beautiful scenery to enjoy throughout your round on the West Golf Course, this testing course is slightly narrower and longer than the East course making it a real favourite among visitors to the East Sussex National. With plenty of dog-legs and undulating fairways, you’ll find an enjoyable round of golf that will challenge all types of golfer.
Signature Holes
The West boasts no fewer than four signature holes, with two of these being the 17th and 18th. The 17th is a demanding par five, where you follow in the footsteps of John Daly at the European Open, thinking back to how he pitched his drive beyond the lone oak tree on the right-hand side. Or the 18th, where it is essential to have an accurate drive on to a tree-lined fairway, followed by a shot into a heavily guarded green with the backdrop of the magnificent Clubhouse beyond.
