The Ardgowan was designed in 1847 by the famous Scottish architect, George Rae. A family run hotel, The Ardgowan offers 29 comfortable en suite bedrooms split over two adjoining Georgian town houses.

The restaurant is just off North Street on a South facing terrace and enjoys an excellent reputation for top class, freshly prepared food. All menus display a Scottish twist and the dishes celebrate the best in local and seasonal produce.
Playfair's Bar is housed in The Pilmour Hotel and offers a great bar menu. The bar is a nice spot to relax or watch sport, with seven large screens and friendly staff.

The hotel is located East of Perth on the coast, right in the heart of St Andrews only 200 yards from the 18th green of the Old Course. The nearest airport is Edinburgh and the nearest train station is Leuchars Station.
