Although less than 150-yards from the very back tees, the 11th at Castle Stuart golf is one of the top par-3s in the world. With stunning sea views, and often heavy winds, the hole is not as simple as it looks.

Castle Stuart Golf Links

The Castle Stuart Golf Course is at the heart of the highlands offering classic links golf that is beautifully complemented by spectacular views overlooking a truly breathtaking coastal landscape. Opened in 2009 and designed by Mark Parsinen and Gill Hanse, the 18-hole, 6,592 yards, par 72 golf course at Castle Stuart is the epitome of contemporary links course architecture, with wide fairways, huge undulations, and extraordinary greens, all bordered by thin fescue, broom, gorse, and heather. Having played host to the Scottish Open on four occasions, it is clear that both the facilities and course are among the very best in the UK.
