Running from the edge of the village along the seashore to Ferry Wood, the course at Golspie Golf Club offers an unusual contrast in golfing terrain. The layout was designed by James Braid and is situated on the Dornoch Firth with a beguiling mix of classic links, heathland and parkland holes. The course has stunning views from all holes of the Dornoch Firth on one side and the backdrop of Ben Bhraggie on the other. The club prides itself on its friendly atmosphere with the members ensuring that guests are met with a warm welcome and provided any useful information where possible. The club's facilities are superb, with well-kept changing rooms, bar and restaurant, pro shop and practice facilities all available for use.

The layout at Golspie Golf Club traverses from links to heathland, then to pasture on the holes alongside Ferry Road before reversing again to links turf over the closing three holes. This exciting mix of holes allows the golfer to test all areas of their game whilst never feeling like two holes are the same. The variety mixed with the quality of holes creates a truly great test of golf and players will immediately be wanting to play again.
