El Rompido North Course

Designed by Alvaro Arana, a much-celebrated Spanish golf course architect, Rompido’s second layout has, like its illustrious sister course, utilised the protected and peaceful marshes. Accuracy is the key throughout the round but more so from the tee on the front nine and from the fairway on the back.

On the front none, the first seven holes skirt the coast marshland with two long tough par 5's on the 5th and 8th. The back nine plays a little more inland with the exception being the 16th hole, a par 3 that is located on the edge of the marsh with a long narrow green and coffin bunkers on either side.
