Golf Course at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf
The 18-hole championship course at Guadalhorce Club de Golf is kept in fantastic condition year round and regularly hosts regional tournaments, the club also has excellent practice facilities on site.
The course is a 6,200-metre par 72 parkland layout, redesigned in 2009 by club member and European Tour star Miguel Angel Jimenez. The course is considered challenging, and features two contrasting layouts of 9. The front 9 mirrors a traditional English course, with relatively flat fairways and few water hazards.
Alternatively, the back 9 offers well-protected raised greens, undulating fairways, and a series of water hazards. Guadalhorce is a stern challenge even for accomplished Golfers.
Signature hole
The signature hole is considered to be the par-4 6th hole which has an elevated tee box and a raised green, which is shared with the 8th hole.
