Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort overview

This five-star hotel is part of the two resorts located on the Heritage Domain, Mauritius. It is inspired by Mauritian colonial architecture and is set amongst tropical gardens and a magnificent lagoon. Combined with a top-class golf course, a 19th-century chateau and a fantastic beach club, this place has it all for an ideal golf holiday.

Golf Courses

Heritage Golf Club is home to La Chateau a Peter Matkovich designed, par 72 championship course. It is set right in the heart of the resort, with amazing views of the nearby coastline and lagoon. The golf course itself is of outstanding quality, always in pristine condition, and enjoyable for all levels of golfers.

La Reserve Golf Links offers an unparalleled experience for golfers. It is the first contemporary links course in the Indian Ocean and has been designed to offer panoramic views from every hole, showcasing Mauritius' beautiful landscape and coastline.

The unique layout, co-designed by Open champion Louis Oosthuizen, features rolling fairways and expertly placed bunkers to test golfers of all abilities. It is also set to host the DP World Tour 2023 Mauritius Open, which speaks for the pure quality of the track. Tee times at La Reserve are exclusively reserved for Heritage Resort residents and Heritage Golf Club members, giving you the true VIP experience.

Accommodation

The hotel is in a setting inspired by the Mauritian colonial architecture and style of the time. The sublime five-star establishment, infused with the charm and style of the colonial sugar plantation past, opens out onto a magnificent tropical garden through which the Citronniers river flows. Escaping back through time, Heritage Le Telfair immerses its guests in a very special atmosphere, embodying the charm and romanticism of yesteryear.

The hotel, a member of the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World”, is exceptional in many ways: its butler service in suites is one indication of their conviction that top quality is synonymous with personalised service. Furthermore, the luxurious and spacious rooms decorated with fine white woodwork, all refer to the décor and interiors of Mauritius in the 19th century.

There are various added values that guests can benefit from when upgrading to a higher suite category. The Ocean Suite Beachfront offers airport transport, one Table D'Exception Dinner, guaranteed early check-in and late check-out, a personal buggy for golf courses, and much more!

Restaurant & Bars

It has recently added the C Beach Club to its arsenal, an outstanding facility where you can enjoy a whole range of water activities as well as some wonderful al fresco dining.

The Infinity Blue Restaurant is a pool and beach restaurant serving International cuisine for lunch and dinner. The vast domain where Heritage Le Telfair is located is impressive! The views from the golf course are second to none, as is the maintenance of the course, and the hotel’s location could not be better. Another gem in the Mauritius portfolio, this resort is made for golfers looking to also relax by the sea.
