Overview
Formerly known as the South Course, the Asia Course is the oldest of the three courses at La Cala Resort and the most respected by professionals with it being narrow and short, demanding skill and accuracy throughout the round.
Built in the mountainous landscape of the region, the Asia Course is an interesting layout where the focus is predominantly on the approach shots. Similar to the America Course, the Asia features many elevated greens with both water and defensive bunkers protecting them meaning club selection is absolutely crucial.
Signature Holes
Choosing a signature hole is difficult due to the spectacular challenge that all 18 holes present. However, the 10th in particular presents a great task thanks to the sloping landscape. Due to the picturesque water feature that protects the green, the 12th is also another hole to watch out for.

The America and Asia layouts were two of the first projects completed by American architect Cabell B. Robinson after he moved from the Robert Trent Jones company. The third course at La Cala Resort, Europa was later added in 2005.
