Moorland Course
at Legends Golf Resort
Myrtle Beach, USA
Moorland Course overview
Designed by P.B. Dye in 1990, the Moorland Course is considered the toughest layout onsite at Legends Golf Resort, with undulating terrain and deep bunkers. Despite being only 6755 yards from the tips with four sets of tees available, the Moorland Course challenges golfers of all skill levels.
Waste areas, water hazards, and bunkers are strategically located and force players to consider all options. A well-designed layout, Moorland also features a handful of risk-reward holes that can make or break a player’s round.
Signature Holes
The signature hole here is the drivable par-4 16th. Playing just 270 yards from the tips, players will feel inclined to go for the green with their tee shot. A large bunker aptly named “Hell’s Half Acre” guards the green and penalizes those who miss left. A picturesque hole that offers a lot of drama, the 16th is one all golfers will enjoy during their round.
