The first 9-hole golf course (Val de Marque) was completed in April 2008 and the second 9-hole golf course (La Valutte) in April 2010, creating Merignies Golf Club. The range of excellent holes provides golfers with a stern but enjoyable challenge that will test the skills of all levels of golfers. The current 18-holes, called La Valutte, was completed early 2010 and is an inland links. Despite an easy first hole, from the 2nd onwards, you realise the difficulties which lie ahead, with strategically placed bunkers and ominous water features.

The golf club is located just a short 35-minute drive from the popular town of Arras. There are three good hotels to choose from, all of 3-star quality but very different from one another, catering for all types of needs and clients. If you are looking to be located on a golf course, choose the Hotel du Golf d’Arras, just 10-minutes drive from the town centre. The Hotel L’Univers is in the town centre and has bags of character, with a cosy bar, a classy restaurant and allows clients to enjoy wine tastings in their cellar. The Hotel Express by Holiday Inn is also in the town centre and caters perfectly for larger groups looking for good value.
