Priestman Course
at Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort
Northumberland, England
Priestman Course overview
Designed by PGA Chairman Neil Coles, the course weaves its way across 280 acres of the Western side of this picturesque estate with stunning views as far as the Cheviot Hills in Scotland. Despite only being opened in 1999, the golf course has matured well to the extent of already holding European Tour events.
The course layout is slightly more open and shorter than the Hunting Course, making it suitable for players of all levels. However, the undulating fairways, lakes, streams and numerous strategically placed bunkers make the golf course a challenge that even the most advanced golfers will enjoy.
Signature Holes
There is an abundance of good holes at the Slaley Hall track. The 9th and 18th holes catch the eyes of most players on their rounds, providing a great lead up into the halfway point and a long par 5 at the end of your round which can make or break your scorecard. All the course is kept in pristine condition perfectly showcasing some of the best resort golf in the UK.
