Championship Course
at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club
Nottingham, England
Championship Course overview
The Championship Course is one of two courses located at this well-equipped and idyllically set golf club. Having undergone a major redesign in 1997, this parkland layout now lives up to its big sister course, offering a stern test for golfers of all abilities, whilst also being kept to the same excellent standard.
The course consists of subtle borrows and daunting oak trees which tend to line the plush fairways. There is also an abundance of water hazards to keep you on your toes, whilst grass faced bunkers will also impose a challenge throughout.
Signature Holes
The 1st hole of the Championship Course has recently become one of its more tough holes. Renovated in 2017 and reduced from a par-5 to par-4 it is a long and tricky hole that requires golfers maintain maximum concentration throughout.
