Waldorf Astoria Golf Club
Orlando, USA
Waldorf Astoria Golf Club overview
Situated to the southwest of Orlando, the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club offers golfers a luxurious experience as the brand would suggest. The friendly and accommodating staff eagerly await your arrival outside the clubhouse and are sure to go above and beyond to make your visit memorable.
Inside is a small but well stocked golf shop and the Clubhouse Grille which is a great spot before or after round. Situated one level up, it offers sweeping views of the course and practice facilities. Outside, there is a full range, chipping area and putting green allowing a full warm-up before heading to the 1st tee.
Golf Course overview
The course at Waldorf Astoria Golf Club was built in 2009 by Rees Jones and plays 7108 yards from the back tees. However, with a five-tee design, golfers of all abilities will be able to enjoy the golf course. Sitting amongst the Bonnet Creek nature preserve, the course uses the land’s natural contours and blends seamlessly with the natural environment.
Well-manicured fairways are lined with pine and cypress trees, and many well-positioned bunkers prove to be a good defense for the undulating greens. As expected for Florida, water hazards come into play on many holes and golfers will be required to think strategically in order to score well.
