Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort overview
Tahquitz Creek Golf Club is regarded as one of the best public golf resorts in Palm Springs. Set within the beautiful San Jacinto Mountain Range, Tahquitz provides an idyllic location in which to play golf. With two fantastic championship golf courses and Palm Springs International Airport just minutes away, there are few better locations within Palm Springs in which to enjoy a golf holiday.
The facilities at Tahquitz Creek are second to none, featuring a 50-stall grass driving range, chipping green, two large putting greens and much more. The Resort Course and The Legend Course both offer a great desert links-style test with spectacular mountain views throughout the round.

Legend Course
Originally opened as Palm Springs Municipal Golf Course back in 1957, this 9-hole course was extended out to 18 in 1959 and had 40 bunkers added by Arnold Palmer Golf Management in 1996. William Francis Bell designed this traditional layout to measure out to over 6,800-yards and it meanders through several neighbourhoods, many of which are as old as the course itself. Many of the surrounding trees that line the Legend course fairways are over 50 years old.
Resort Course
Unlike the Legend Course, the Resort Course, designed by Ted Robison Sr. uses the surrounding desert to create a unique layout and much more of a desert-style course. Providing challenging obstacles such as an island fairway, or playing through the Tahquitz Canyon, this is a great addition to any Palm Springs golf trip.
