The Champions Course overview

Originally built on the site of what was previously TPC Scottsdale’s Desert course, the new Champions Course was designed by Randy Heckenkemper to fit seamlessly into the natural Scottsdale desert terrain.

Although lacking the reputation of the Stadium Course (home to the Phoenix Open), this course still provides a formidable challenge to test your golfing skills. The McDowell Mountains add a scenic backdrop to several holes. A creek runs through parts of the course, while a scattering of birch and pine trees complements the gently rolling desert layout.
