The course is located in rich golfing land, with Hillside Golf Club and Royal Birkdale its famous neighbours.

Championship Course at Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club

Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club is located on the northwest coastline and has twice been the host of The Ryder Cup. The famous James Braid design is ranked among the very best in the country and offers a great test of golf to even the most skilled golfers. The course is not incredibly long but the narrow fairways, bordered by sandy dunes and channels require application and accuracy off the tee. The range of challenging and interesting holes rivals that of the world-class courses and it is easy to see why this club has hosted such prestigious events in the past and continues to do so.
