Rusacks St Andrews
St Andrews, Scotland
Rusacks Hotel overview
Scotland’s true original, the Rusacks St Andrews lives along the legendary “Old Course” and is the golf explorer’s most sought-after playground. With its untamed beauty, Rusacks is a monument to St Andrews legacy and its abundant creative spirit. Occupying a landmark 1600s building, overlooking the Home of Golf and feet from Old Tom Morris’ hallowed Old Course Links – the hotel is the newest offering from Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts.
Golf Courses
Golf is intrinsically linked with The Rusacks, due mostly to its position overlooking the Old Course. With St Andrews a golfing mecca, it means you have several courses within walking distance of the hotel including the likes of the Links Trust’s Jubilee and New Course.
Other big names such as Kingsbarns Golf Links and Carnoustie Golf Links are within easy driving distance of the property as well as some of the hidden gems in Fife such as Crail Golfing Society and Leven Links.
Accommodation
Warm woods and antique furnishings meet luxurious materials and mystical touches to create a vivid ode to the Highlands and Linksland of Scotland. Selected rooms feature prime views of the surrounding courses and natural landscapes and come with a wide array of fine amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Restaurant & Bars
Rusacks St Andrews celebrates the uniquely Scottish relationship between golf, the landscape, produce, and culture. An anticipated collection of inspiring hospitality concepts from White Rabbit Projects featuring a diverse selection of restaurants and bars celebrating the very best of Scottish produce.
A destination rooftop restaurant and bar will feature breath-taking views overlooking the iconic Old Course. The first-floor restaurant is a friendly, authentic all-day restaurant. The dining room is sophisticated yet welcoming, casual yet polished, with views over the infamous St Andrews landmark and historic golf course. A laid-back and family-friendly place in which to have an excellent meal.
One of St Andrew’s best-kept secrets and our favourite Scottish pub is at the bottom of the grand old Rusacks hotel.
Location
The Rusacks Hotel has a prime position directly adjacent to the 18th hole of the Old Course in St Andrews on the east coast of Scotland. Just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of St Andrews, guests of The Rusacks are in touching distance of everything the town has to offer. For international access, we recommend either Edinburgh Airport which is 1 hour 20 minutes’ drive away or Glasgow Airport which is just under two hours.
