The Island course opened in 1970 and following a recent renovation is considered as demanding as the Copperhead layout. It has played host to numerous U.S Open qualifiers and has featured in country’s top 50 rankings by Golf Digest on several occasions.

Picturesque, diverse and challenging sum up the 18 holes perfectly. Holes 1 to 6 on the Island course are bordered by the beautiful Lake Innisbrook, lateral water hazards and well-guarded greens demand pin point accuracy. The middle third of the round features rolling hills lined with cypress and pine trees and the final 6 holes are designed to reward the bold and penalize the wayward. The par 4, 18th hole is one of the most pictured in Florida and will test the nerve of the most experienced golfer. A fantastic golf course from start to finish.
