Garda Golf Country Club overview

The Garda Golf & Country Club offers players a challenging and highly technical Open Championship course alongside breath-taking scenery of Lake Garda, making for an unmissable experience. Despite being a relatively new course established in 1986, it has twice been the host of the Italian Open.

Golf Course at Garda Golf Country Club

Nestled deep within the Vatenesi Hills, Garda Golf Country Club offers golfers the chance of playing 27 holes across three 9-hole courses. The Red and White 9-hole courses make up the original championship 18-hole course, with the more recent 9-hole Yellow Course making up the 27 holes, giving players a variety of options before teeing off.

Golf Magazine hailed the second hole, a par 3, as one of their 500 greatest golf holes in the world. From an elevated position, the green is bordered by a lake and flowerbed, providing a challenge for both novice and expert players. The second nine also provides some interesting holes, with five of them featuring water, and the extra-special final green that’s burrowed in a natural amphitheater of olive trees.
