Experience all-inclusive golf holidays on a budget

Going all-inclusive has become increasingly popular over recent years, particularly those travelling in larger groups. The ability to leave the wallet at home and forecast your expenditure before your trip is a huge attraction. Plus, it removes the need for the post-meal maths lesson when trying to divide your bill by 16!
There can be a misconception that all-inclusive golf holidays can be pricey, and are exclusively five-star retreats, negating the savings made by not needing to pay for your 19th hole beverages.
With this increased interest from golfers, a plethora of three and four-star options have sprung up across some of our most popular regions of Spain and Portugal. Not only do they offer superb value, but flight costs are also reduced when compared to travelling further afield, creating some of the best value options in our entire portfolio.
So, without any further ado, check out some of our favourite all-inclusive golf destinations in Europe below:
With regular, inexpensive flights from the UK, Gran Hotel Cervantes by Blue Sea near Malaga is the perfect first stop on our tour of great value all-inclusive breaks. The hotel itself is situated in the heart of Torremolinos, with loads to do nearby; including the stunning Bajondillo Beach, just a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Sol Marbella Estepona Atalaya Park has been a regular favourite of Golfbreaks customers, expanding its offering with the addition of all-inclusive packages, taking all the stress out of finding a place to eat each evening.
The hotel has four open-air swimming pools, nine tennis courts, and a fully-equipped gym, as well as two restaurants and four bars too – giving plenty of options for things to do once you’re on-site.
Plus, with easy access to a myriad of golf courses; including Marbella Golf Course, Atalya Golf & Country Club, Los Arqueros Golf Course and El Paraiso Golf Course, we wouldn’t blame you for spending the majority of your trip on the fairways!
Situated on Mallorca’s western coast, nearby Palma, Zafiro Rey Don Jaime was refurbished in 2015, and boasts over 400 rooms – ideal for larger groups looking for a base close to both the beach and a variety of excellent golf courses.
Notably, the six-time European Tour host venue at Golf Santa Ponsa is a firm favourite of our customers, with excellent practice facilities to complement its tree-lined layout. Elsewhere, Club de Golf Alcanada, Golf de Andratx, and Golf Son Gual Mallorca, all offer fantastic options for mixing it up, and taking in several courses on your trip.
Another fantastic option on the Costa Del Sol, Hotel Mararque Torreblanca is conveniently based close to Chaparral Golf Club – offering an ideal base for a great-value break.
The hotel is minutes from the beach in the centre of Fuengirola, with everything you need within walking distance, including the train station which allows for easy exploration of the Costa del Sol. Offering 200 modern rooms, with almost unbeatable all-inclusive value, this is definitely one to check out for your next getaway.
The Canary Islands have seen a surge in golf holidaymakers in recent years, as groups flock to the warmer climates offered by their location throughout the year. Fuerteventura sees the smallest amount of our visitors, although we continue to see a yearly increase, thanks to excellent venues such as the Elba Sara Beach & Golf Resort.
Fuerteventura Golf Club is situated next door, as is the island’s largest shopping and leisure centre – and with three swimming pools on the resort itself, you will not be short of things to do on your break. Whilst the venue offers some fabulous packages, be sure to also check out flight times and prices to ensure you get the best possible deal for your holiday package.
With the Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club just 250 meters from this fantastic four-star hotel, the Iberostar Waves Royal Andalus puts you at the centre of the action. Its all-inclusive packages allow you to take advantage of the three bars and four restaurants on-site, with an adult-only pool too for those looking for some relaxation following their round.
Those with an eye for history should venture into the ancient port city of Cadiz, with a huge section of museums and galleries, as well as waterfront bars and restaurants.
The Algarve continues to be a golfing hotspot for our customers, and the Marriott Residence Salgados Resort in Albufeira puts you at the heart of the Algarve. The excellent four-star hotel provides easy access to many of the golf courses in the area, with Salgados Golf and Morgado Golf & Country Club most often visited by golfers staying here. Those looking to spend some time in the pool won’t be short of options, with no less than 10 to choose from on-site!
Another excellent option in Albufeira, the Real Bellavista Hotel & Spa is within easy walking distance of the famous Albufeira strip, albeit set back in a slightly more tranquil area of the town. As you’d expect from its location, there’s plenty of golf to choose from, with the aforementioned Salgados and Morgado courses, also joined by Gramacho and Vale da Pinta.
Albufeira’s location just 30 minutes from Faro airport also means there’s usually chance to sneak in an extra round of golf on either your day of arrival or departure.
Our list concludes with two five-star offerings in Albufeira that offer all the luxury you’d expect, without breaking the bank! Sao Rafael Suite Hotel is a smaller hotel with 101 well-appointed guest rooms, fantastic sea views, and splendid spa/leisure facilities. The hotel offers free transfers to the nearby Morgado, Alamos and Salgados golf courses, again helping to minimise expense on your break, and negating the need for hiring a car on your holiday.
