Old Thorns

Located in the South of England, just off the A3, Old Thorns is a great choice for a short family getaway. With the option of both traditional hotel rooms, as well as self-catering penthouses that can sleep up to six people, there’s an ideal trip for every group at Old Thorns.

Old Thorns Course

The course is a traditional English parkland that rolls through a stunning 400-acre estate in the Hampshire countryside, with spectacular views offered as you rise to some of the estate’s highest points. Be sure to check out the fantastic Sports Bar too – ideal for some post-round entertainment, with a plethora of big screens to enjoy!

Celtic Manor

With a wide choice of accommodation options, the Celtic Manor has long been a hugely popular choice for our guests. Whether you want to stay in one of the larger family rooms in the hotel, or in the Hunter Lodges that overlook the Twenty Ten Course, there are rooms and suites to suit families of all sizes.

Just five-minutes down the road you’ll also find the Coldra Court Hotel, another superb option for golfers, particularly those looking to maximise value from their trip! There’s three courses to choose from, the aforementioned Twenty Ten, as well as the Montgomerie and the Roman Road – with all three layouts ranked highly by our customers.

Belton Woods

Belton Woods is home to two championship golf courses and is based at a central location (in Lincolnshire) that’s easily accessible from across England. We love The Claret Jug bar for a debrief, with its beautiful views looking out over the golf course.

There are also loads of on-site activities for the whole family to get involved with; from mountain biking to Segways, tennis courts, and so much more. We’ve got some great three-night packages which are perfect for those looking to really make the most of their time here.

Penina Hotel & Golf Resort

Looking to head abroad with the family? Let’s introduce you to our first overseas option at Penina Hotel & Golf Resort in Portugal; a five-star destination with 36-holes of fantastic golf on-site too!

Penina Hotel & Golf Resort

One of the things that makes Penina so great is its 9-hole academy course which makes up part of a wider performance centre at the venue – an ideal place to make a start in the sport. However, for those that really aren’t keen on picking up the sticks, the hotel is also home to the largest swimming pool in the Algarve, and the resort also allows for easy access to the beach… the golfers can catch you up later!

Sueno Hotels Deluxe Belek

Nothing says family-friendly like an on-site waterpark! Coupled with the five swimming pools within the resort designed for adults, and a further five for children and babies, the Sueno Hotels Deluxe is one of the finest five-star family getaways imaginable.

Sueno Hotels Golf Belek

There’s everything you need for kids of all ages, with two championship golf courses, a bowling alley, an evening entertainment stage, and some of the best all-inclusive food offerings in Turkey.

The resort is based at the heart of Belek, the home of all-inclusive golf holidays, and allows for easy access to any other courses you’d like to visit during your trip. That said, we’d forgive you for not wanting to set foot off the resort after you’ve arrived.

Iberostar Waves Bouganville Playa

Elsewhere in Spain, albeit on the Island of Tenerife, you’ll find the excellent Iberostar Waves Bouganville Playa. As an all-inclusive option, the hotel takes the stress out of finding a location for your evening meal, and also allows the kids to run off to grab their own drinks by the pool, without the adults needing to accompany them with their wallets!

Iberostar Waves Bourganville outdoor pool

Golf Las Americas is just 10-minutes from the hotel and is the perfect holiday course, with good practice facilities and plenty of water features to keep you on your toes. For something different too, make sure to check out the iconic Golf Del Sur with its unique black sand bunkers – also situated within a short transfer from the hotel.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

We’ve saved potentially our most luxurious family golf offerings for last! Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is the jewel in the crown of the Dominican Republic, and home to the notorious ‘Teeth of The Dog’ layout – one of Pete Dye’s most highly ranked courses on the planet.

Casa de Campo pool

The five-star hotel is part of the lauded ‘Leading Hotels of The World’ group, due to its consistent quality in all areas. However, families and larger groups might want to consider some of the resort’s standalone villas and suites. These come with added perks, with some even having their own chef attached to the villa – allowing your group to enjoy personalised cuisine throughout your stay, perhaps by your own private swimming pool!
