When it comes to a weekend golf break away, Le Touquet is the destination that has it all. Great golf, plenty of nightlife, easy access and superb value are all par for the courses in Northern France.
We are often asked by our customers, what are the best golf courses in Le Touquet? Check out our list of favourites...
One of the most scenic and inviting courses in France, Belle Dune is quite rightly a huge favourite with Golfbreaks customers. Moving from pretty woodlands into the giant dunes of the Fort Mahon Plage, a round at Belle Dune is always a wonderful experience. Lunch and a beer on the terrace by the lake is a must.

Length: - Back tees: 6649 yards - Front tees: 5207 yards Par: 72 Architect: Jean-Manuel Rossi Founded: 1992 Course type: Links style
Having enjoyed a massive upgrade in 2015, the venerable Pins course is once again a force to be reckoned with, more than 60 bunkers having been rebuilt to Tom Simpson’s original design. The results are spectacular and this beautiful course is an absolute dream to play, with some memorable holes, not the least the 9th and 18th – both big par-fours that return you to the clubhouse.
Hardelot Les Pins Course facts
Length: - Back tees: 6473 yards - Front tees: 5127 yards Par: 71 Architect: Tom Simpson, Mackenzie Ross and Frank Pont Founded: 1934 Course type: Links style
It might be shorter than its big brother, but the picturesque Dunes course is anything but the poor relation at Hardelot. Yardage can certainly be deceptive, with plenty of raised greens and massive elevation changes to factor in. With some gloriously secluded holes weaving through the pine forest, this is golf escapism at its very best. Playing both in one day is a real treat.

A Harry Colt classic, the vintage links is the crown jewel of golf in Le Touquet. Like Hardelot, the esteemed Frank Pont has restored La Mer to its 1930s form, with several new greens being built and a lot of clearance taking place to open up the magnificent vistas on offer. It’s a massive improvement on already sensational layout and one that should be enjoyed by all golfers visiting Le Touquet.

Le Touquet Le Foret & Le Manoir
Not as imposing or demanding as La Mer, La Foret is nonetheless a very pleasant course that weaves through the beautiful pine forest of Le Touquet. It’s always in great condition and is quite simply a wonderfully tranquil experience. Play it with La Mer on a day ticket for the full Le Touquet experience. The nine-hole Manoir is a fun course for juniors and beginners.

Exit the Channel Tunnel, drive for 20 minutes or so and you’ll find yourself at the very lovely Wimereux Golf Club, where a warm welcome, an excellent lunch menu and a cracking clifftop links lie in wait. The wind is usually howling and it can be tough, but there are some wonderful links holes to savour and magnificent views to enjoy. The ideal way to start your Le Touquet golf tour.

Not one for the faint-hearted, this European Tour venue – the annual host of the Najeti Open – will test every facet of your game… not to mention your stamina. There are some big climbs up from the valley floor, but don’t let that deter you. The conditioning is excellent, the holes varied and the lunch on the terrace overlooking the course is spectacular.

A wonderfully picturesque club in the Scarpe Valley, Arras has a serious pedigree as a Tour venue having hosted the Ladies French Open from 2000 to 2009. It’s a course of two halves, with the front nine laid out among natural marshland while the back nine rises up into the hills. There is also a second course (the nine-hole Les Aubepines) that is perfect for beginners or as a warm-up to the main event.

With two very pleasant courses laid out around an impressive 15-century chateau, golf at Nampont St Martin is something to savour. Take your time, soak up the scenery and enjoy a relaxing round in gloriously natural surroundings – all just 20 minutes from Le Touquet.
