Sun, sea, sand, and of course, incredible golf resorts, we explore the very best resorts that Turkey’s famous golf coast has to offer.
When you combine sun, sea and sand with all-encompassing golf resorts, then Turkey is incredibly hard to beat.
The famous golf coast of Belek, often referred to as the home of all-inclusive golf, offers a plethora of beachfront hotels, with on-site golf courses that rival both the quantity and quality of European giants such as the Algarve and Costa del Sol.
Most venues will be to four and five-star standard, with multiple restaurants, recreational activities, spas, bars and even nightclubs on-site…PLUS, most will have the option to go all-inclusive so there are no hidden costs. With all of this and more, it may be difficult to decide on what is the best golf resort in Turkey for your trip, so we’ve decided to give you a little help with our list below.
A superb five-star resort, Sueno Hotels Golf Belek was designed with the golfer in mind, with guests able to wander down from room to tee within five minutes. There are two exceptional parkland courses located on-site, the Pines and the Dunes, which are maintained to an incredibly high standard. Both courses weave blissfully through 400-acres of beautiful umbrella pines, natural undulating terrain, waste bunkers and strategically placed water hazards.
There is an array of room types available, with anything from standard rooms to jacuzzi suites to choose from. Along with the plethora of guest rooms, visiting golfers can take full advantage of the many bars, restaurants, and facilities across both Sueno Hotels Golf Belek and its bigger sister hotel, Sueno Hotels Deluxe Belek.
There are well over 15 bars and restaurants across the resorts, as well as a private beach, outdoor and indoor pools, a spa, aqua park, night club, and a host of sports facilities including water sports, tennis, basketball, a gym, and much much more. All in all, Sueno is an exceptional resort with all you could need for your Turkey golf holiday.
Another exceptional resort along Belek’s luscious golf coast, Gloria Golf Resort is five-star through and through. The hotel, along with its two neighbouring sister hotels, Gloria Verde and Gloria Serenity, occupies a private stretch of pristine beach within easy walking distance. There is an eclectic mix of room types, from standard rooms and suites to a range of villas for those looking for a home away from home.
The facilities are also exceptional, with a beautiful private beach, large pool and aquapark, spa and wellness centre, and 12 bars and restaurants across the resort. Away from the hotel, Gloria Golf Club sits just a stone’s throw away and is easily accessible.
There are 45 stunning woodland holes here, which is made up of the Old Course, New Course, and the 9-hole Verde Course. Each course blends effortlessly into the natural surroundings, with tree-lined fairways, plenty of lakes to contend with and views over the Taurus Mountain range. And if you’re looking to play more than just golf, then fear not, as Gloria provides activities and sports aplenty.
Along with Antalya Golf Club, Sirene Belek Hotel is a gluttony for golfers. Like a lot of resorts in the Belek area, this five-star all-inclusive hotel comes equipped with a wide range of guest rooms, most with open space balconies and ocean views, sports and fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, a private beach and more. There are also five restaurants across the resort where guests can indulge in Italian, seafood, South American and traditional Turkish cuisine.
Adjoined to the hotel, Antalya Golf Club offers two exceptional 18-hole golf courses – the PGA Sultan Course and Pasha Course. The former is one of the very best golf courses in Turkey, made up of crystal-clear lakes, fairways lined with pine trees, and undulating fairways and greens. Designed by David Jones and European Golf Design, the shorter Pasha Course is another Belek gem and a must-play when staying at Sirene Belek Hotel.
The Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort, along with Cornelia De Luxe Resort and Cornelia Golf Club, is all you could ever want from a golf holiday. Both hotels are five-star luxury, with a vast range of facilities and room types, whilst the golf club is considered to be one of the best modern clubs in Europe.
When staying at either hotel, Golfbreaks customers will be extremely well taken care of. The food options are second to none, with cuisine ranging from local Turkish and seafood to far east or Latin, and the accommodation choices are excellent – with guest rooms, suites and private villas all available.
Cornelia Golf Club is situated adjacent to the two hotels and is home to 27-holes of enthralling golf, all designed by Sir Nick Faldo. The course usually ranks within the top two or three in Turkey and is made up of mature pine trees and natural sand, with great playability for all levels of golfers. We strongly recommend that all visitors make full use of the beautiful clubhouse, with its open plan design, well-stocked pro shop and terrace bar.
With over 600 rooms and over 10 different room types, unrivalled facilities and a beautiful coastal location, Titanic is a fantastic resort and perfect for your next golf holiday to Turkey. 11 restaurants and 12 bars make up the dining and drinking options, with exotic pool bars, Irish bars, and cuisine which ranges from Italian to Asian fusion.
As with the restaurants and room types, the on-site facilities are incredibly extensive. Sporting options include football, tennis, an Olympic standard pool and kayaking, whilst guests looking for a more relaxing stay can enjoy the private beach, swimming pools, aquapark and live entertainment.
Bordering the hotel you’ll find the exceptional Cullinan Links Golf Club. Situated in a privileged location between the Mediterranean and Besgoz River, this stunning course offers 27-holes of open, lush fairways, with each loop of nine (River, Mediterranean and Forest) offering its own unique challenge.
This five-star beachside resort is the epitome of luxury and extravagance, with a host of amenities and most importantly, Carya Golf Club, which is well known as a multiple-time host of the European Tour’s Turkish Airlines Open.
Often ranked as the no.1 course in Turkey and within the top 50 in Europe, Carya provides a stunning woodland layout inspired by courses on Surrey’s famous sandbelt such as Sunningdale and Walton Heath. The beautiful undulating fairways are paved between pine, eucalyptus and heather, and the greens are always in immaculate condition. Carya is also famous for being the only floodlit course in Turkey, and we’d strongly recommend playing a spot of night golf.
Guests staying at the hotel can also make full use of the National Golf Club. A real must-play gem and the first to be built in the area, this 27-hole hole David Jones design plays through mature pine and eucalyptus trees, with beautiful views overlooking the Taurus Mountains.
Away from the course, the accommodations options at Regnum are extremely varied, with standard and luxury rooms, beautiful suites, and stunning private villas which border Carya Golf Club. Dining ranges from buffets, casual beach/pool bars, and a la carte restaurants where guests can indulge in Thai, Japanese, Brazilian, Italian cuisine, and much more. As with most hotels on this picturesque coastline, visitors can make full use of a private beach and water sports, as well as a host of other spa and sports facilities.
Another five-star all-inclusive gem, Kaya Palazzo opened in July 2013 and offers a new dimension of luxury for golfers. The architecture is simply stunning, and with a variety of accommodation options, there is something for every group size. The many outdoor swimming pools make up the heart of the resort and there is a private beach that guests can get to from their room within minutes. Additionally, there are tennis courts, football pitches and an aqua park, perfect for golfers looking to maintain an active lifestyle off the course.
There are 12 bars and restaurants for visitors to indulge in, with a range of different cuisines and décor, and there is also a nightclub which is open until the early hours. Away from the hotel, Kaya Palazzo Golf Course is another fantastic David Jones design in the area. This is a beautiful layout laid out in a pine forest, with tight fairways, immaculate greens and plenty of lakes – a fantastic addition to the resort.
