Idyllically situated at the foot of the Mijas mountains in the Costa del Sol, just outside of Fuengirola, La Cala is a beautiful four-star resort and one of our best-sellers in Spain. La Cala is one of a few venues in the country to offer three golf courses, meaning that you’ll never need to travel elsewhere to vary your rounds of golf.
The Asia Course and America Course are both considered within the top 100 courses in Spain and provide tricky elevation changes, well-manicured Bermuda grass, and raised greens to a high standard. The Europa Course is lesser known and the newer of the three courses, but provides an incredibly fun test of golf, nonetheless.
The resort spa is full of natural light with a beautiful and well-landscaped garden. The spa has a gym and hydrotherapy circuit, which includes a hammam, steam bath, sauna, indoor swimming pool, and loungers overlooking the rest of the resort.
Active guests can also partake in pilates, yoga, Zumba and aqua toning, whilst the various spa treatments are the perfect way to unwind.
Outside of the golf & spa, this is one of the most well-rounded resorts in our portfolio, with five bars and restaurants, a great outdoor pool, and a selection of room types catered to your needs.
Sticking with the Costa del Sol and moving 40 minutes west past Marbella sits the Westin La Quinta Golf Resort. This five-star facility is undoubtedly one of the best golf & spa resorts in Spain, with an array of excellent facilities within the surrounding Sierra Blanca mountains.
The privileged location means that visitors are never more than 15 minutes away from both Marbella and the famous marina of Puerto Banus.
There are two restaurants and three bars available, and the Heavenly Spa provides 1,500sqm of complete tranquility. Here, guests can enjoy a fitness centre, Mediterranean sauna, aromatic steam bath, hammam, hydrotherapy, eight treatment rooms, and a relaxing lounge area… complete bliss!
The on-site La Quinta Golf Course offers 27 stunning holes designed by nine-time European Tour winner and 1985 Ryder Cup winner, Manuel Piñero. The former Spanish Open host features views of the surrounding mountains, Marbella golf valley and the Mediterranean Ocean, with deep bunkers, sloping fairways, and plenty of stamina needed. Most importantly, it is playable for all levels of abilities.
Another exceptional five-star resort, Precise El Rompido is located just outside the popular tourist city of Huelva, nearby the Spain/Portugal border. The fantastic southern location means that golfers can enjoy 300+ days of sunshine throughout the year. The hotel itself is modern and contemporary and offers tremendous value for money – particularly with its semi all-inclusive packages.
The on-site spa features everything you’ll need for a tranquil experience, including a heated pool and jacuzzi. Services range from wet and dry treatments, as well as a wide range of massages, facials, and body/nail therapies. There is also a fantastic gym with state-of-the-art equipment which overlooks the beautiful resort gardens, a good way to stay active throughout your stay.
The golf is the perfect complement to the full-service spa, with 36 magnificent holes designed by Alvara Arana. Both layouts weave through pine and orange groves, with beautiful views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The North Course is long with wide, open fairways along marshland area, whilst the South Course is the newer, shorter course of the two and provides a fun round.
PGA Camiral Golf & Wellness is a first-class venue situated just outside of Girona and an hour northeast of Barcelona - often considered as the best golf resorts in Spain. Despite its quality and quantity of resort facilities, PGA Camiral is best known for its golf. The Stadium Course has long been considered the no. 1 golf course in Spain by Top 100 Golf Courses and has hosted plenty of professional tournaments over the years including the Spain Open, the 2022 Catalunya Championship, and the European Tour Destinations Senior Classic.
The layout itself has beautiful architecture and memorable holes, with fairways often shaped by fir trees, heather, and vegetation. The shorter, more open Tour Course is the other track on-site. Although not as acclaimed as its older sibling, the Tour Course is still very much a must play and regularly ranked within the top 30 courses in Spain.
Another fantastic five-star venue, this time located in Murcia, Ona Mar Menor Golf & Spa is a true haven for golfers. The hotel comes equipped with multiple swimming pools, a gym, free use of tennis courts, and seven gastronomic experiences – ranging from local Spanish produce and Italian food to authentic Japanese cuisine.
The hotel’s spa, Torre-Pacheco, provides the perfect oasis to wind down following a round of golf. Choose from a wide variety of facials and beauty treatments, whilst also having great access to the many facilities, which includes steam rooms, jacuzzis, treatment rooms, and a heated pool.
The on-site Mar Menor Golf Course is a great 18-hole layout designed by David Thomas and Nicklaus Design. Here, golfers can enjoy beautiful, manicured fairways shaped by stunning lakes, palm trees, native grasses and flowering shrubs – a great test!
On top of the golf course, guests staying at the Caleia will also have great access to the local courses on the Murcia network, namely Saurines, Hacienda del Alamo, La Torre, and many more.

La Torre Golf offers a beautiful, par-68 Nicklaus Design layout, with multiple tee boxes, large bunkering, plenty of sand to separate holes and thick fescue rough. Despite not being a long course, La Torre is an incredibly fun course to play and demands precision over distance. As with Mar Menor, guests at La Torre Golf Resort will also have great access to the many courses in the Murcia region.
Sheraton Mallorca Arabella offers five-star excellence less than 10-minutes outside of Palma, Majorca. Three of Majorca’s best golf courses are all connected to the resort – Son Vida is situated on-site, whilst Son Muntaner and Son Quint are just a short two-minute transfer away.
Son Vida is the oldest course on the island dating back to 1964 and incorporates lengthy par-5s, doglegs and water aplenty. Son Muntaner is the best rated of the three with a great course design, and Son Quint is a cracking layout that weaves through pine and olive trees.
The resort hotel is five-star luxury in a beautiful Spanish mansion, surrounded by a Mediterranean-style garden. In addition to the three golf courses, the resort has fantastic spa and leisure facilities. There is a swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and a spa – which includes a steam room, indoor pool, and a range of massage treatments.
