What is the DP World Tour Championship?

Previously hosted at the Earth Course at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, the DP World Tour Championship closes the DP World Tour Race To Dubai. The competition first took place in 2009 as a replacement to the Volvo Masters, which was a similar event for the leading 60 money winners on the Order of Merit.

The tournament has grown massively in popularity over the years, with each year leading to a bigger prize fund and audience, so expect to see the pro's battle it out for those top spots on the leader board.
