Golf at Quinta do Lago
One of the Algarve's most popular and well-known resorts, Quinta do Lago was hailed Golf Digest's 'Best International Resort' in 2016 and 2017. Being only 20 minutes from Faro Airport, Quinta do Lago is the perfect location for your golf break.
The courses are the main attraction of Quinta do Lago, the North, South and Laranjal courses remain staples of a European golf break, with each deserving a place on your ‘where to play next?’ list.
Designed by American, William Mitchell, in 1974, the South Course at Quinta do Lago has held the Portuguese Open on eight occasions. The par-72 Laranjal Golf Course is a fantastic track all year round, with great greens kept in fantastic condition. Just shy of 6700 yards in length, the Quinta do Lago North Course tests your ability to drive the ball, as well as your finesse around the greens, making this the ideal addition to the tournament.
The Magnolia Hotel
The Magnolia Hotel is a unique 4* Miami-style boutique hotel, offering affordable yet luxurious accommodations just moments away from Quinta do Lago. The hotel offers 74 sleek guest rooms, each complete with a private veranda, three suites and seven exclusive cottages. Each room offers sumptuous twin or king beds, steam showers and modern amenities, including crisp 300 thread count cotton sheets and high-speed Wi-Fi.
