The best season to play golf in Miami is around the Spring time in March when the weather is not too hot but still has fantastic sunshine. September through to November in the Fall are also ideal months to play with the warm weather following on from the summer.

Miami has previously played host to a number of PGA TOUR events. Trump National Doral Miami was a significant stop on the TOUR. It hosted the WGC-Cadillac Championship, now known as the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. While not in Miami, the Cognizant Classic is held at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, about an hour north of Miami and is also a superb tournament drawing the best in the world.
