Capitol Hill Golf Club overview
Situated eight miles north of Alabama’s state capital, Capitol Hill Golf Club is home to three championship courses. Spread across 1,500 acres of natural landscaping, these three 18-hole layouts each bring a unique playing experience to Capitol Hill, which was named the 2nd best public golf club in the country by Golf World.
The three are part of the 26 courses across Alabama that make up the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, a well-renowned collection of some of the best designs in the country. To make the most of your trip, practice your game on the 360-degree driving range before your round, then grab a bite to eat in the stylish clubhouse.

Judge Course
Labeled by Golf Magazine as one of the top 10 public courses in America worthy of hosting the U.S. Open, the Judge Course is the most challenging course of the three at Capitol Hill. Stretching an impressive 7,813 yards, it is certainly the longest layout at the club, and with water hazards lurking on almost every hole, accuracy is key here.
